Job Description
Data Scientist developing advanced AI models for a legal tech firm in Brazil. Collaborating on data analysis, tooling, and optimization tasks in a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced artificial intelligence models to solve complex problems across various domains, including data analysis, forecasting, optimization and pattern recognition;
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities to apply AI techniques that improve processes and operational efficiency;
- Design and build tools integrated with existing and available AI engines to address internal demands, automating repetitive tasks, improving decision-making and driving innovation;
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and data mining techniques to solve specific problems such as customer segmentation, product recommendation and anomaly detection;
- Collaborate with architects, developers and software engineers to integrate AI models into production systems and ensure their scalability, performance and robustness;
- Engage with team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in data science and artificial intelligence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience developing and deploying artificial intelligence models in production environments;
- Proficiency in Python, as well as in data manipulation and analysis techniques;
- Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms, data mining techniques, statistics and optimization;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and translate business requirements into scalable and effective AI solutions;
- Knowledge of NLP (preprocessing, feature engineering, classification, etc.);
- Experience in prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs (BERT, GPT, LLAMA, CLAUDE, among others);
- Preferred: University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields.
