Job Description
Lead Instructor at WBS CODING SCHOOL, responsible for Data Science and Analytics programs. Engaging teaching with hands-on workshops and mentoring international students in a 100% remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging topics in Data Science and Data Analytics.
- Conduct hands-on workshops covering topics such as Python, SQL, Pandas, Tableau, and Machine Learning.
- Guide and support students through projects and assignments.
- Collaborate with other instructors to refine and improve teaching materials.
- Provide feedback, mentorship, and motivation to students.
- Participate in student evaluations, final project mentoring, and classroom events.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of practical or instructional experience in Data Science or Data Analytics.
- Deep understanding of and hands-on experience with SQL.
- Extensive experience with Python for data analysis (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib & Seaborn) and Machine Learning (Scikit-Learn, Keras, LangChain).
- Empathetic toward students’ needs.
- Demonstrates patience as a core strength.
- A passion for sharing knowledge and experience with students and the team.
- Highly proficient in English and German, both spoken and written (C1+).
- Ideally some experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, etc.).
- Able to design and run A/B tests and familiar with concepts of statistical inference.
- Solid knowledge of adult education practices and the tech industry.
