Job Description
NetSuite FSM Consultant optimizing financial modules, reporting, integrations, and close processes for managed clients. Supporting Atticus, a Philippines-based remote staffing and IT offshoring firm.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a functional subject matter expert for MSP clients
- Resolve elevated support tickets, identify process bottlenecks, and propose tailored system optimizations
- Design, configure, and implement NetSuite financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Management, Advanced Revenue Management, Multi-Book, and Consolidated Financial Reporting
- Conduct business process reviews with client finance leadership and translate business requirements into efficient NetSuite architecture
- Build custom financial reports, Financial Report Builder layouts, Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, and executive dashboards
- Collaborate with technical developers on functional specifications for financial integrations and custom SuiteScripts or workflows
- Lead User Acceptance Testing, user training, and documentation creation
- Assist clients with month-end and year-end close optimization, intercompany eliminations, currency revaluations, and audit trail compliance within NetSuite OneWorld environments
Requirements:
- 3+ years of direct hands-on experience consulting on or administering NetSuite Financials (FSM)
- MSP or multi-client consulting background strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of core financial accounting workflows, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Revenue Recognition, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany Management
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or equivalent practical experience
- NetSuite Financial User, NetSuite ERP Consultant, or NetSuite Administrator certification highly desirable
- Advanced proficiency in Saved Searches, Financial Report Builder, CSV Data Imports, and functional Workflow design
- Strong consultative mindset and client-facing presence
- Ability to explain complex functional concepts to technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders
- Experience with NetSuite OneWorld multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation
- Familiarity with third-party NetSuite ecosystem SuiteApps, such as SuiteSync, Celigo, Tipalti, Avalara, and BlackLine
- CPA license or formal accounting background
