Job Description

Paid Search Strategist owning Google Ads strategy, buying, attribution, and client relationships for DTC eCommerce brands at Sweat Pants Agency. Building and optimizing full-funnel growth systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Own a set of DTC and eCommerce Google accounts end to end
  • Serve as strategist, buyer, account manager, and direct client point of contact
  • Manage monthly budgets ranging from $5,000 to well into six figures
  • Present results, plans, and strategic reasoning to clients
  • Audit campaign and ad group structure, keywords, search terms, negatives, bidding, impression share, feeds, landing pages, audiences, and conversion tracking
  • Create Loom audit walkthroughs for clients
  • Separate and manage brand and non-brand activity
  • Evaluate PMax incrementality and branded volume
  • Audit Google’s auto-applied recommendations, assets, and sitelinks
  • Manage Merchant Center hygiene, product titles, disapprovals, promotions, Shopping, and PMax delivery
  • Manage GA4, GTM, Shopify goal imports, Google Ads tags, enhanced conversions, and offline conversion imports
  • Diagnose and fix bottlenecks involving creative, offers, AOV, landing pages, checkout, and tracking
  • Build landing pages, scripts, reporting, and other tools needed by accounts
  • Run geo holdouts and evaluate attribution using NC-CPA and NC-ROAS

Requirements:

  • Hands-on Google Ads experience with meaningful spend on DTC and eCommerce accounts
  • Proven results that can be explained using CPA, ROAS, revenue, and specific changes made
  • Experience with Search, Shopping, PMax, Demand Gen, YouTube, Merchant Center, GA4, and GTM
  • AI-native workflow; already using Claude or an equivalent working tool
  • Ability to build and ship landing pages using Claude or equivalent
  • Native or near-native English communication skills
  • Ability to explain strategy clearly, sell ideas, push back with clients, and raise problems early
  • Ability to work US Eastern business hours for client calls
  • Willingness to own accounts, client relationships, funnels, tracking, feeds, and bottlenecks end to end
  • Bing experience is nice to have
  • Shopify store experience or Meta advertising experience is a bonus
