Job Description
Paralegal Health Benefit Plan Technician drafting welfare benefit plan documents at Cigna Healthcare. Collaborating with teams and applying regulations in a remote work setting.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and amend welfare benefit plan documents in accordance with internal/client guidance
- Attend new group meetings for assigned groups
- Understand and apply applicable regulations and laws in drafting plan documents
- Review client benefit materials to align with organizational standards
- Provide operational support to team members as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Five plus years of relevant experience
- General knowledge of regulations and laws that apply to drafting welfare benefit plan documents (e.g., COBRA, ERISA)
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects or tasks at a time
