Job Description
Plastic Surgery Coder coding Physician Plastic Surgery charges. Communicating with physicians and ensuring accurate coding for IP and OP services remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Code Physician Plastic Surgery charges
- Communicate coding rationale to physicians
- Code IP and OP Plastic Surgery charges
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education)
- 3+ years of experience coding for Plastic Surgery
- CPC from AAPC
- Trauma surgery coding experience related to Plastics
- ENT facial plastics coding experience (Nice to Have)
- Multispecialty surgical coding experience (Nice to Have)
- Other coding credentials from AAPC (Nice to Have)
