Job Description
Pricing Analytics Architect driving data architecture and self-service analytics platforms to support internal teams at Hopper. Focusing on financial products and pricing models based on big data insights.
Responsibilities:
- As a Pricing Analytics Architect, you will be the driving force behind our next generation of data and self-service capabilities.
- Your primary mandate will be to architect, implement, and operate AI-powered self-service analytics platforms to empower our internal product and revenue stakeholders.
- You will act as a hands-on technical Product Manager for our internal data and analytics tools, balancing stakeholder needs with technical feasibility and data architecture integrity.
- This role plays a key part in strategic development by shaping the underlying data architecture to ensure quality, scalability, and performance.
- You will also assess and develop prototypes for new analytical capabilities that we could potentially deliver to our growing list of external partners.
Requirements:
- Deeply curious with strong problem-solving ability, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing self-service business intelligence (BI) solutions or data products.
- Highly quantitative with advanced hands-on experience in SQL and data architecture/modeling.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics, data quality principles, and reporting tools like Looker or Tableau.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with a strong technical PM slant.
