Job Description
Profee Coder handling E/M Urology coding for Banner Health. Analyzing medical records to ensure accurate coding and compliance with guidelines across various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes medical information from medical records
- Accurately codes diagnostic and procedural information
- Provides thorough, timely and accurate coding
- Abstracts clinical diagnoses and procedure codes
- Provides quality assurance for medical records and coding compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in E/M Urology coding
- Surgical Urology experience preferred
- Must be currently certified through AAPC or Ahima
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training
- Effective and efficient in a remote setting with coding software
