Job Description
Professional Services Consultant at Contrast Security providing onboarding and consulting services. Leading implementation projects and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead customer onboarding and implementation projects from kickoff to successful transition to support, ensuring fast time-to-value and strong adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing best practices, technical guidance, and strategic recommendations tailored to their business objectives.
- Deliver hands-on configuration, integration, and customization services, including developing and implementing technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Facilitate technical workshops and provide training to empower customers and enable self-sufficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to understand customer needs, define project scopes, and ensure alignment of expectations.
- Provide regular updates on project progress to customers and internal stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
- Develop and maintain high-quality customer-facing documentation and deliverables.
- Identify and share opportunities for additional services, optimizations, or product enhancements based on customer interactions and feedback.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, playbooks, and best practices within the PS team.
- Support internal knowledge sharing by mentoring colleagues and contributing to internal training initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience delivering Professional Services or technical consulting engagements, ideally in SaaS, Application Security (AppSec), or cybersecurity environments.
- Hands-on technical expertise in software implementation, integrations, and/or application security.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and modern software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations.
- Ability to analyze complex business and technical problems, propose and implement effective solutions.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in high-growth environments is a plus.
