Job Description
Freelance Python developer building and maintaining commercial applications for Monterail’s tech network. Designing reliable databases, cloud infrastructure, and complex systems for client projects.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and extend Python applications on commercial projects
- Use AI to leverage and improve work
- Design and optimize databases and background processing for performance and reliability
- Work with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment practices
- Take ownership of complex systems by improving, refactoring, and maintaining them
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, testers, and clients
- Review code and share technical decisions
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on Python experience with Django, Flask, and FastAPI
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Practical experience with AWS or a comparable cloud
- Familiarity with Terraform is a strong plus
- Comfortable managing and enhancing complex systems
- Fluent English and Polish
- Freelance/B2B contract arrangement
