Job Description
QA Analyst testing core banking, lending, and digital banking applications for a Tennessee bank. Validating releases, integrations, data accuracy, and production readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across banking systems
- Validate functionality, business rules, workflows, interfaces, and data accuracy against requirements
- Identify, prioritize, track, retest, and resolve software defects and testing issues
- Collaborate with business units, technology teams, product owners, developers, and third-party vendors
- Support user acceptance testing, software releases, upgrades, and implementations
- Validate production readiness
- Maintain testing documentation and communicate testing status, defects, risks, and system quality/readiness
- Follow information security guidelines and protect confidential information
- Maintain awareness of banking policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
- Participate in training sessions and policy updates
- Work scheduled and other needed hours at designated locations
- Provide positive and effective service to internal and external customers
Requirements:
- Banking experience with a strong understanding of bank operations, processes, workflows, and how technology supports day-to-day banking functions
- Working knowledge of Fiserv DNA Core and familiarity with other banking-related processing platforms, applications, and integrated systems
- Strong understanding of end-user functionality and workflows across operational, lending, deposit, servicing, reporting, and customer-support activities
- Ability to evaluate software from system-processing and business-user perspectives
- Experience testing or supporting core banking, lending, deposit origination, online banking, reporting, or other financial services applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify processing issues, data discrepancies, workflow gaps, and unintended system behavior
- Ability to understand upstream and downstream impacts across interconnected banking systems and processes
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to operate office equipment, telephones, and computers
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, in person, in writing, and on the computer
- Ability to read, write, count, and perform basic math functions
- Ability to work with others to share information and solve problems
