Job Description
QA Automation role ensuring quality in agile environments. Focus on automated testing and defect reporting in São Paulo, Brazil.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the quality lead in Agile ceremonies.
- Analyze user stories and define the automated test coverage per sprint/release.
- Develop automation scripts and test data following best practices.
- Generate execution reports and present results clearly, concisely, and with a metrics-driven approach.
- Ensure the proper use of test environments and testing tools.
- Keep test documentation and evidences up to date.
- Report defects and track fixes within established deadlines.
Requirements:
- Experience with test automation using: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Python.
- Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development).
- Experience using test management tools such as Micro Focus ALM / HP-ALM, Jira/Xray, or Octane.
- Strong understanding of quality concepts and practices, such as the Test Pyramid and Shift Left.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a QA, performing both manual and automated testing.
