Job Description
QA Engineer ensuring reliable, high-performance testing for Gorilla’s energy margin intelligence platform. Automating tests and supporting quality releases for energy retailers.
Responsibilities:
- Define testing scope and plans and execute test cases across features and sprints
- Report test coverage and product stability for each sprint/release to support go/no-go decisions
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and review acceptance criteria
- Identify and communicate risks affecting product quality
- Collect feedback, troubleshoot bugs, and perform root cause analysis
- Automate acceptance tests using existing test frameworks
- Conduct exploratory, regression, and performance testing, automated where possible
- Promote QA practices and a quality-first mindset within development teams
- Document issues with reproducible steps and supporting artifacts such as logs and screenshots
- Perform peer reviews of manual and automated test cases
- Help ensure the data platform delivers reliable, high-performance releases
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tester in an Agile development environment
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing, including test planning, design, and execution
- Strong knowledge of web-based applications and testing web service APIs
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebDriverIO, Appium, or JMeter
- Methodical and curious mindset with strong attention to detail
- Passion for continuous learning and staying current with QA best practices
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English
- Openness to regularly give and receive feedback
- Semi-frequent travel across Europe and beyond is required
