Job Description
Revenue Cycle Quality Specialist conducting monthly healthcare quality audits for SSM Health. Analyzing root causes, reporting errors, and improving revenue-cycle processes across remote teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine monthly quality audits within assigned department functions
- Verify accuracy of information in key systems and compliance with policies and procedures
- Prepare monthly audit performance reports for department and company leadership
- Provide constructive feedback to managers and staff
- Assist in designing improvement plans and educate staff on continuous improvement
- Ensure audit errors are communicated and corrected promptly
- Facilitate collaborative work sessions on quality issues, projects, and programs
- Assist with data analysis and report creation for the Revenue Cycle
- Perform barrier and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and best practices
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes
- Experience with patient registration or authorization
- Experience with Epic
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years' experience
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry
- Ability to perform required physical activities, including lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
- Candidates must reside in Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin
- No professional license or certification required
