Job Description

SAP BTP Integration Lead crafting integration solutions on SAP BTP Integration Suite for cross-functional teams. Leading design, development, and governance in SAP BTP landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of SAP BTP Integration Suite solutions including CPI iFlows, APIs, B2B/EDI integrations, and event‑driven architectures
  • Architect and implement end‑to‑end integration scenarios across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud applications, and non‑SAP systems
  • Develop, test, and optimise integration flows, mappings, routing logic, error handling, and performance tuning
  • Design and govern APIs using SAP API Management, ensuring policy control, security, and lifecycle management
  • Facilitate workshops, gather and validate requirements, and translate them into scalable, high‑quality technical designs
  • Drive integration modernisation initiatives, including migration away from SAP PI/PO and legacy middleware to SAP BTP Integration Suite
  • Ensure secure integrations through strong adherence to authentication models, encryption standards, and integration governance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across multi‑system environments
  • Mentor junior team members, perform code reviews, and uphold integration best practices
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation including design specs, mappings, and operational support guides

Requirements:

  • 5–8+ years of SAP integration experience with deep hands‑on expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite and SAP CPI
  • Strong background implementing integration flows, APIs, mappings, and adapters (REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, JMS, SFTP, AS2)
  • Experience delivering integration across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud applications, and non‑SAP systems in both A2A and B2B scenarios
  • Competency with SAP API Management including governance, security policies, and API lifecycle management
  • Exposure to event‑driven patterns and SAP Event Mesh
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration challenges
  • Excellent consulting, communication, and workshop facilitation skills
  • SAP integration certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Cloud Platform Integration) are highly regarded.
