Job Description
SAP Functional Lead leading SAP implementations and functional teams. Supporting Accenture Federal Services’ technology solutions for US federal government missions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate functional team activities across SAP project workstreams
- Provide guidance and direction to functional team members, ensuring alignment with project goals and deliverables
- Oversee SAP solution implementation activities to ensure business requirements are met
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across project teams
- Monitor project progress and identify, communicate, and mitigate risks
- Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies and project governance standards
- Facilitate communication between functional, technical, and business teams
- Mentor and develop team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and professional development
- Stay current on SAP technologies, capabilities, and industry best practices
- Support project planning, resource allocation, forecasting, and workload management
- Align SAP project objectives with broader business and organizational goals
Requirements:
- Extensive experience leading SAP projects and SAP solution implementations
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies and best practices
- Experience with project planning, resource allocation, and risk management
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to align SAP initiatives with strategic business objectives
- Experience mentoring and developing team members
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation across project teams
- Familiarity with SAP tools, technologies, and emerging industry trends
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
