Job Description

Virtual fitness instructor delivering live, adaptive fitness classes for healthcare participants across Delaware and Pennsylvania. Monitoring safety, documenting sessions, and supporting diverse abilities remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, effective, and inclusive Fitness & Resistance Training
  • Lead live, interactive, two-way video classes ranging from standard high/low intensity fitness to functional movement and strength
  • Modify exercises dynamically for varying physical abilities, mobility limitations, and fitness levels, including older adults and individuals with physical or sensory considerations
  • Maintain active visual monitoring of participant safety via two-way video stream
  • Adhere strictly to established safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Complete class attendance tracking, performance charting, and session logs according to program metrics
  • Attend mandatory ongoing administrative meetings, quality assurance reviews, and professional development sessions

Requirements:

  • Must be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States (US Hires Only)
  • Active nationally accredited Group Fitness Instructor certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA, ACSM) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience teaching fitness to diverse populations
  • Ability and willingness to commit to teaching a minimum of 5 live classes per week across flexible scheduling windows (mornings, evenings, or weekends) on an as-needed basis
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check prior to official hire and onboarding
  • Access to high-speed, reliable internet capable of supporting continuous, high-definition two-way video streaming without lag
  • Proficiency in operating major video conferencing systems and virtual delivery tools
  • A dedicated, clean, professional, and quiet home teaching area free from background noise or domestic distractions
  • Camera setup providing full-length body visibility (head-to-toe) while standing, moving, and demonstrating floor exercises
  • Multi-modal certifications or experience teaching secondary modalities, including Yoga, Mind-Body, or Specialty modalities (preferred)
  • Prior experience delivering virtual wellness programming within a healthcare or clinical setting (preferred)
  • Formal training in trauma-sensitive or trauma-informed instruction (preferred)
