Job Description

Security Analyst II defending Netrix Global client environments and infrastructure through 24/7 SOC monitoring. Investigating incidents, improving SIEM detections, hunting threats, and automating security operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a senior member of the Security Operations Center
  • Independently manage and resolve security incidents end-to-end
  • Lead incident investigations and perform root cause analysis
  • Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with global security teams to develop and improve processes, tooling, and operational best practices
  • Analyze complex security logs, SIEM alerts, and correlated data to identify, assess, and remediate threats
  • Maintain and enhance security tools
  • Create and refine SIEM use cases and detection logic based on evolving threat intelligence
  • Identify risks, security gaps, and opportunities to strengthen the organization’s security posture
  • Contribute to 24/7 SOC monitoring, detection, and response coverage
  • Mentor junior analysts and foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Information Security or related cybersecurity roles
  • Hands-on SOC experience
  • Strong exposure to SIEM, endpoint, and network security technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud environments and cloud-native security tools
  • Experience with SOAR platforms and scripting in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar is a strong plus
  • Working knowledge of Linux systems, including command-line syslog analysis
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including access control, data protection, threat detection, and compliance monitoring
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple time zones
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage incidents methodically
  • Experience with Azure Sentinel, QRadar, Splunk, Cisco IDS/IPS, Palo Alto, McAfee Security Suite, Tenable Nessus, ForeScout, and Cisco ISE
  • Comfortable with KQL or SQL is advantageous
  • Operational knowledge of APIs is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Certifications listed as advantageous include CompTIA Security+ CE, CEH, ECSA, ECIH, CompTIA CySA+, SC-200 or relevant cloud security certifications, Cisco CCNA/CCNP + Security, ITIL Foundation, and Linux+
  • CISSP or CISSP-ISSEP, SSCP, and MCSE are additionally desirable
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts in a 24x7 operational environment, including night shifts
  • Work schedule follows Indian Standard Time (IST)
