Job Description

Security Consultant II providing end-to-end trusted advisory and technical solutions for high-profile Akamai customers. Collaborating with teams and delivering innovative security solutions while ensuring customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in internal projects to contribute to best practices and improve our methodology and quality of integrations
  • Ensuring customer success by focusing on best practice, helping develop a long-term web performance and security strategy
  • Partnering cross-functionally to review and ensure integration efficiency, deliver high quality service and ensure customer engagement
  • Collaborating with account teams to evaluate customer streaming architecture and deliver the best of class solutions

Requirements:

  • Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Be well versed in internet technologies like IP networks, DNS and routing, HTTP, TCP or web architecture
  • Be able to analyze customer's web traffic and demonstrate expertise to optimize the security posture
  • Show experience of managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfully and influencing stakeholders across the teams
  • Demonstrate web application security experience or Cloud Security Providers
  • Possess excellent communication skills to articulate highly technical information in a clear and easy to understand manner
