Job Description
Security Systems Analyst supporting Lenel OnGuard and Milestone physical security systems for Securitas UK. Owning incident resolution, troubleshooting faults, and coordinating third-party engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Own incidents end-to-end, from logging through to closure
- Triage and diagnose faults across physical security systems, infrastructure, and hardware
- Perform remote troubleshooting across Lenel OnGuard and Milestone environments
- Resolve issues in-house wherever possible to reduce external engineer dependency
- Coordinate third-party engineers with clear diagnostics and defined scope when required
- Maintain accurate ticketing, documentation, and system data quality
- Support system administration, including patching, upgrades, firmware, and new site onboarding
- Contribute to a global support model, including on-call as services expand
- Improve physical security incident triage, diagnosis, and resolution for a globally recognised brand
Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale physical security systems
- Excellent technical capability in Lenel OnGuard (essential)
- Experience with Milestone or similar VMS platforms
- Experience in incident management, ticket triage, and technical troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose issues quickly and take full ownership through to resolution
- Detail-oriented with robust organisational and documentation skills
- Desirable: Lenel certification
- Desirable: Networking fundamentals (IP, switches, connectivity troubleshooting)
- Desirable: ITIL or structured service management experience
- Ability to work 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remotely in Reading, RG6
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Willingness to contribute to a global support model, including on-call as services expand
