Job Description
Security & Trust Lead role at Close focused on protecting customer data and implementing compliance practices. In charge of GRC, auditing, and security incident management as part of a 100% remote team.
Responsibilities:
- Run our GRC program — then automate it.
- Own how customer data moves through our stack.
- Be the security gate for new tools and vendors.
- Make Close best-in-class at communicating trustworthiness.
- Coordinate product security audits.
- Investigate and clean up security incidents.
- Own our identity and device security.
- Run our employee security program.
Requirements:
- A hands-on operator, with 5+ years of building Security & Trust programs.
- Technical enough to know how our systems work.
- Automation and efficiency minded.
- AI-positive.
- Experience with SSO, SOC 2 audits, and identity management.
