Job Description
Senior AI and Data Protection Engineer leading technical delivery for data classification, labeling, and governance. Collaborating on data loss prevention and security for AI integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Be a key contributor to the technical implementation and lifecycle management of data classification and sensitivity labeling across Microsoft 365, on-premises, supported SaaS applications and endpoints.
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, endpoints, and supported SaaS applications; validate effectiveness via testing and metrics.
- Own and execute eDiscovery end to end using Archive360 and Microsoft Purview: legal holds, content search, exports, and process improvements with Legal and HR.
- Triage insider threat alerts, contribute to case building, and assist with handoffs to Legal and HR.
- Implement AI security controls for enterprise AI usage (copilot, AI agents, and AI enabled integrations/applications)
- Assist in day-to-day administration and optimization of email security controls including policies, firewall, spam detection, and email authentication
Requirements:
- College Degree or equivalent
- 6 years related experience
- Expert technical knowledge
- Knowledge of industry regulations
- Ability to lead and coordinate the team activities of others
- Ability to formulate, document and recommend new policies and procedures
- Able to work in and lead a team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
