Job Description
Senior Analyst owning APAC enrolment forecasting and commercial modelling for Keypath Education’s online university programs. Shaping pricing, investment, workforce planning and growth decisions through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the APAC enrolment forecasting framework across university partners and study periods
- Develop, refine and continuously improve forecasting methodologies, assumptions and scenario models
- Deliver rolling forecasts, variance analysis and study-period performance reporting
- Prepare and present forecast reviews and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Drive the annual enrolment forecasting process to support budget and planning cycles
- Develop automated pacing tools providing real-time visibility into enrolment performance
- Identify risks and opportunities through scenario analysis and predictive modelling
- Evaluate the commercial impact of pricing changes, marketing initiatives, operational capacity and channel performance
- Translate enrolment trends into workforce, operational and financial insights
- Build commercial and financial models for new programs, partnerships and market expansion opportunities
- Assess business cases, pricing strategies, investment decisions and ROI scenarios
- Support long-term strategic planning through growth and revenue modelling
- Monitor and analyse newly launched products and initiatives
- Lead post-implementation reviews against forecasts, assumptions and commercial expectations
- Identify optimisation and continuous improvement opportunities
- Partner with Workforce Planning to translate enrolment forecasts into staffing plans
- Align modelling assumptions and performance measures across Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance
- Collaborate with Data Engineering on automation, scalability and data quality improvements
- Enhance forecasting processes, automation and quality assurance frameworks
- Maintain forecasting standards, documentation and modelling best practices
- Coach business leaders on forecast interpretation, scenario planning and data-driven decision making
- Champion analytical rigour and continuous improvement across the organisation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline
- 8+ years' experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, financial modelling or demand planning
- Proven success developing enterprise forecasting frameworks and scenario modelling approaches
- Deep experience in financial modelling, ROI analysis, pricing strategy and investment evaluation
- Strong experience building performance tracking, pacing or predictive analytics solutions
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Product and Finance
- Exposure to data engineering, automation initiatives and modern data platforms
- Advanced forecasting, statistical analysis and commercial modelling capability
- Expert-level Excel skills with strong financial modelling experience
- Advanced Power BI skills including dashboard development and executive reporting
- SQL proficiency and experience working with modern cloud-based data environments such as Microsoft Fabric
- Experience using Python and/or R will be highly regarded
- Strong presentation, storytelling and executive communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking and numerical reasoning
- Applicants must be based in Australia and hold unrestricted working rights
- Preferred candidates may be required to complete a police check and other pre-employment screening requirements
- Postgraduate qualifications in Analytics, Finance, Econometrics or a related field are advantageous
- Education or EdTech experience is desirable but not essential
