Job Description
Senior Analyst conducting virtual IT security and compliance examinations for Raymond James, a diversified financial services company. Assessing branch controls, documenting findings, and coordinating remediation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform virtual endpoint security reviews, network security reviews, and technology-related security assessments within PCG branch office locations
- Review branch technology compliance with firm policies and procedures as part of the branch examination program
- Interact with branch personnel to perform virtual inspections of branch technology equipment
- Coordinate closely with branch examiners to ensure timely reporting of issues
- Test third-party vendors and systems to validate conditions of use
- Complete IT assurance and compliance-related activities following industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Assess risks associated with business objectives and evaluate mitigating controls
- Perform control assurance testing activities
- Conduct interviews and virtual walk-throughs and document results
- Prepare work papers and coordinate receipt of audit materials to analyze, test, and evaluate branch controls
- Communicate findings to business, compliance, and IT partners
- Advise process owners on potential control gaps
- Identify, implement, and maintain processes and tools supporting assurance, compliance, and remediation tracking
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities
Requirements:
- Strong background in information security, specifically testing end-user and network controls
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple examinations simultaneously
- Report writing and technical writing skills
- Ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities and draw conclusions from data
- Ability to clearly convey information and ideas through varied media
- Ability to choose courses of action and develop appropriate solutions based on available facts
- Current technical and professional knowledge in position-related areas
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships
- Client-focused approach and ability to sustain productive client relationships
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the financial services industry, compliance, or risk management, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources
- Information Security certifications such as CISSP, GCCC, CIA, CISA, Security+, Network+, Linux+, or other SANS certifications are preferred
- No licenses or certifications required
- Travel less than 25%
