Job Description
Senior Analyst overseeing semiconductor manufacturing economics and market analysis at TechInsights. Monitoring financial releases and updating analytics regarding capacity, capital spending, and costs.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor publicly available financial releases and announcements from key semiconductor manufacturers and capital equipment companies
- Maintain and update the SME Company Analysis and Equipment Analysis spreadsheets
- Cross-correlate financial data against SME model results to validate and calibrate models across capacity, capital spending, depreciation, cost, and margin data
- Assist the President and Director of SME in maintaining and updating the SME models
- Follow key semiconductor manufacturer announcements and financial releases
Requirements:
- Minimum of ten years working as an analyst at a financial or market research firm following the semiconductor industry and semiconductor capital equipment industry.
- An established network with contacts throughout the semiconductor and equipment industry.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Must be a self-starter capable of seeing complex projects through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or economics.
- Chartered Financial Analyst certification is a plus.
