Job Description

Senior Android Engineer developing Kotlin Android features for global mobility platforms. Improving intercity travel and parcel-delivery products through architecture, testing, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android application features
  • Collaborate on feature design, architecture, and delivery
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery planning
  • Apply Clean Architecture, review pull requests, and implement secure data flows
  • Monitor applications, investigate risks and production issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Ensure quality through unit testing, UI testing, and code reviews
  • Work on an international platform focused on intercity travel and parcel delivery across multiple markets

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial Android development experience
  • Intermediate language proficiency
  • Kotlin and modern Android APIs, including Retrofit/OkHttp, Coroutines/Flow, RxJava, Jetpack Compose, WorkManager, Google Maps, FCM, and DataStore
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose design systems and component libraries
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, third-party integrations, offline storage, concurrency, performance tuning, and network debugging
  • Knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI, backend-service principles, and API design
  • CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Gradle
  • Experience with ktlint, Detekt, feature flags, and A/B testing
  • Unit/UI testing, secure coding, Google Play policies, Git workflows, and the mobile delivery lifecycle
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude
  • English proficiency required for the interview process
  • Candidate based in the EU, Serbia, Georgia, Armenia, or Kazakhstan
  • Nice to have: Dagger 2 in production multi-module codebases, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Figma
