Job Description
Senior Backend Developer focusing on backend systems and integrations for a U.S.-based managed service provider. Building automation workflows and connecting internal platforms with third-party vendor APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop backend services and integrate APIs using Go (preferred) or Python
- Build and maintain automation workflows in n8n using JavaScript, Python, and SQL
- Create integrations between internal systems and third-party vendor APIs
- Parse and transform data from emails, webhooks, and external systems
- Contribute to AI/LLM-powered projects
- Document system interfaces, data flows, and integration architecture
- Train an AI chat agent on internal data to recommend the correct expense accounts for receipts
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Go or Python for backend development
- Experience building automation workflows in n8n (JavaScript/Python/SQL)
- Strong REST API integration skills (JSON/XML payloads, webhooks, OAuth)
- Basic Bootstrap HTML knowledge
- Git & GitHub proficiency
- Ability to document integrations, data payloads, and system architecture
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
