Job Description
Senior Backend Engineer focusing on AI for Holycode's ineexa, developing features for construction industry digitization. Lead projects involving advanced data parsing and product matching engines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a sophisticated PDF parsing solution to extract structured data from "Leistungsverzeichnisse" LVs.
- Help design and build an intelligent product matching engine to accurately map parsed items to their extensive product database of over 1 million items.
- Work on a variety of other features and contribute to the core development of their Java-based backend.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in building and deploying production-ready Python projects.
- Solid understanding of and hands-on experience with the APIs of major LLM providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic).
- Strong expertise in API design and implementation, particularly with RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- A deep understanding of prompt engineering and experience in building and optimizing ML pipelines.
- A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with the ability to balance quality and speed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Experience with Java (Spring Boot) is a significant plus.
