Job Description
Senior AWS/Cloud Database Engineer providing technical support and optimizing cloud-based database systems for Business Computers Management Consulting Group, LLC.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage databases and data delivery systems and transform them into insights, analysis, and reports
- Create automation for repeating database tasks
- Manage and optimize databases for maximum performance, efficiency, and quality
- Ensure that all database systems meet business and performance requirements
- Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs
- Participate in data migration, data integration, and data conversion projects
- Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
- Work closely with development teams for database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
Requirements:
- US Citizen, eligible for DoD Secret Clearance
- 8+ years of proven work experience as a Cloud Database Engineer or similar role
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
- Experience with database design, documentation and coding
- Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
- Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Familiarity with programming languages API
- Experience with ServiceNow FSM is a plus
