Job Description

Senior Data Analyst creating metrics and models for data-driven recruitment marketing solutions. Empowering employers with insights and analytics to optimize hiring success.

Responsibilities:

  • Build client-facing metrics using labor market, job marketplace, and brand data
  • Own all stages of the data products–cleaning data, building analytics, developing Looker dashboards, releasing data into production, and monitoring health
  • Correlate client data with external market conditions to explain why certain jobs succeed or struggle
  • Design and implement statistical models to inform business decisions
  • Turn those metrics into production models (SQL, LookML, and pipelines) that run every day without breaking
  • Partner with product, data science and engineering to define key metrics and shape strategy
  • Collaborate with engineering to make sure your logic is correctly implemented in Looker and downstream analytics
  • Document your logic clearly so engineering can productionalize it without question marks and clients can understand it
  • Build and maintain data quality checks so bad data doesn’t poison our metrics
  • Provide data-driven insights to product managers, marketing, and engineering teams, enabling them to make informed decisions to optimize both the job marketplace and the user experience
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by working with engineering and BI teams to maintain the quality of data pipelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with strong proficiency in Looker, SQL, and Python/R
  • Prefer experience in dbt and snowflake
  • Strong Looker experience: LookML, modeling layers, dashboards, and optimizing for scale
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets
  • Ability to distill large amounts of data into actionable insights
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect disparate datasets into clear correlations
  • Experience building complex statistical models with Python or R
