Job Description
Senior Data Analyst analyzing agent performance and customer interactions at The Zebra, a leading insurance comparison site. Collaborating with various teams to drive actionable insights and improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities related to agent performance, customer interactions, and sales outcomes.
- Partner with agency leaders, enablement teams, and engineers to define data requirements that support improvements in agent workflows and customer experience.
- Work closely with agency teams to design, run, and analyze experiments, ensuring methodological rigor and actionable results.
- Deliver optimization insights for ongoing initiatives through ad-hoc analysis and intuitive performance dashboards.
- Monitor key agency metrics, KPIs, and customer behavior trends to proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical teams, translating complex data into understandable and actionable stories.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional (or comparable) analyst experience
- Intermediate to advanced SQL experience, with Python knowledge being a plus
- Experience with BI platforms (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Hex)
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving, with a history of delivering data-driven solutions
- Familiarity with agency analytics and experimentation methodologies
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, including familiarity with insurance products and related data analysis is a plus
