Job Description
Senior Data Scientist collaborating with stakeholders to analyze business needs and develop machine learning solutions. Building advanced algorithms and predictive models to drive strategic decisions in the company.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal stakeholders to better understand their business needs
- Build advanced quantitative/statistical/machine learning algorithms
- Perform analyses on a variety of datasets to identify trends, patterns, correlations/correlations and predict future business outcomes
- Build and deploy prototype solutions to showcase ideas and proof of concepts
- Perform validation, testing, and documentation of newly developed predictive models
- Assist in maintaining existing models and data product
- Facilitate conversations and communicate effectively with team members and business partners
- Responsible for advancing relevant, informative, and user-friendly insights to help influence strategic decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or relevant field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and applying Statistical/ML predictive methods
- Proven experience conveying the results of complex analyses in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
- Deep understanding of statistical and machine learning approaches (both supervised and unsupervised) and application to business problems
- Well versed in R and/or Python, with a deep understanding of relational data structures and SQL
- Familiarity with Git for source control management
- Experience in processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data
