Job Description

Senior Director Analyst producing insights in Cybersecurity for Gartner's global clients. Leading research and development strategies in Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance while mentoring team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content
  • Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership and offer compelling, actionable approaches to client's needs
  • Analyze and predict market trends and shifts to provide clients and vendors with actionable insights
  • Collaborate with Insights teams to create content and drive engagement with clients
  • Deliver high value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings
  • Represent Gartner insights, methodology and strategy as an industry expert
  • Participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions in the Insights community

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in Cyber GRC, Information Security, or Enterprise Risk Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
  • Expert on the identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of cyber risks across the enterprise
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives to embed cyber risk management into business processes
  • Expertise in implementing quantitative and qualitative risk analysis methodologies (e.g., FAIR, NIST RMF)
  • Experience developing and executing an organization’s Cyber GRC strategy, aligning with business objectives and risk appetite
  • Deep familiarity with Cyber GRC platforms such as ServiceNow, Drata, Archer, or MetricStream
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent research and writing ability
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
