Job Description
Cloud engineer building scalable systems and automation for CrowdStrike’s Falcon Complete cybersecurity platform. Improving reliability, observability, and analyst protection workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Create, enhance and operate core systems that turn teams of analysts into a barrier to adversary actions
- Design and implement new features and product enhancements
- Work directly with Falcon Complete stakeholders to build products and systems solving cybersecurity challenges
- Design and implement reliable and performant solutions for scalability
- Improve service monitoring effectiveness and proactively address issues
- Write automation to reduce operational load
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high-quality 24/7 operations
- Work with Falcon Complete security analysts and advisors around the globe
- Share responsibility for everything the team builds
- Lead cross-functional projects from conception to execution
Requirements:
- Professional experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java, and a willingness to use Golang
- Comfort and experience working within the constraints of existing software applications and architectures
- Practical experience building web services and data pipelines at scale
- Practical experience building services within a microservices architecture
- Operational knowledge of relational, NoSQL and graph databases
- Operational knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or Kinesis
- Linux programming fundamentals
- Experience with distributed and scalable systems
- Experience with cloud native technologies
- Experience with cloud observability tools
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as K8S
- Experience leading cross functional projects, from conception to execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be successful in a highly asynchronous environment
- Ability to distill high level feature requests into concrete engineering requirements
- Self-starter able to thrive in a remote environment
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
- Experience with AWS, AZURE, GCP or OCI
- Experience building with modern AI technologies
- Experience building products in the security domain
- Experience doing high-level design and architecture
