Job Description
Senior Frontend Developer managing high-performance web platforms for Definity. Focused on building, deploying, and improving modern web applications using Javascript/Typescript/Astro.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build a high-performance website using Next.js.
- Own the frontend architecture and deployment lifecycle on Vercel.
- Implement best practices for performance, accessibility, and discoverability.
- Integrate external systems such as billing, CRM, and content platforms.
- Work independently, making technical decisions with minimal oversight.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations when integrations or data flows are involved.
- Continuously improve build, deploy, and development workflows.
- Ensure secure handling of credentials, webhooks, and environment variables.
- Monitor performance and reliability, improving Core Web Vitals and overall site health.
Requirements:
- Experience building modern web applications and production websites with Javascript/Typescript/Astro
- Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience owning the deployment lifecycle on Vercel (deployments, previews, environment management).
- Solid understanding of modern technical SEO fundamentals (not keyword strategy), including: SSR and SSG, metadata management, Core Web Vitals, sitemap generation and robots configuration, page speed optimization and performance monitoring.
- Accessibility basics (semantic HTML, performance-friendly components).
- Comfort integrating with third-party systems and APIs.
- Secure handling of API keys, webhooks, and environment variables.
- Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows.
- CI/CD concepts.
- Advanced English.
