Job Description
Frontend Developer specializing in React and Next.js at HostGator. Developing software solutions and ensuring delivery quality within a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and develop software solutions based on requests received from the product team
- Support continuous improvement of development processes and the enhancement of solutions
- Ensure documentation is consistently kept up to date
- Ensure delivery quality, including creating and maintaining automated tests (unit, functional, and BDD)
- Provide technical support for systems in production
- Configure the development environment and perform deployment/publication of applications
- Define the architecture of new solutions
- Stay up to date with industry trends
Requirements:
- Strong experience in front-end development, especially with React and Next.js
- Substantial experience with JavaScript ES6+
- Experience with microfrontend architectures
- Advanced knowledge of semantic HTML and CSS
- Experience with unit testing and BDD
- Experience with agile culture and methodologies
- Familiarity with Styled Components
- Deep knowledge of SEO best practices
- Knowledge of performance best practices
- Experience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation)
- Experience with Axios/Fetch
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
- Experience with Tailwind for component styling
- Experience with versioning workflows, such as Trunk-Based Development and Gitflow
- Basic knowledge of back-end (PHP or GoLang)
