Job Description
Senior Software Engineer leading the migration of legacy frontend to React at Broadvoice. Involves collaboration with Product and Design for omnichannel UI experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Play a central role in the migration of legacy frontend to React
- Design and evolve a scalable frontend architecture
- Work closely with Product and Design to implement omnichannel UI experiences
- Define and enforce frontend engineering standards
- Mentor other engineers on React best practices
- Contribute to backend development when required
- Actively contribute to technical discussions and propose better approaches
- Help the team move faster by reducing friction
Requirements:
- +5-6 years of experience in frontend development
- Expertise in React, TypeScript, and Nodejs
- Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and modern frontend patterns
- Experience with large-scale frontend migrations
- A clear opinionated perspective on good frontend engineering
- Solid grasp of web performance, accessibility, and testing
- Working knowledge of Node.js and Nest.js
- Comfortable working in an iterative delivery model
- Proactive mindset to identify problems and propose solutions
- Strong product and design sensitivity
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with remote, distributed teams (fluent English required)
