Job Description
Senior Frontend Engineer building accessible React and Next.js interfaces for Monks’ AI-powered digital transformation consulting. Collaborating with design, product, and backend teams to ship polished client experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Build responsive, accessible interfaces in React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Turn designs into clean, reusable, well-structured components
- Integrate backend APIs and handle real-world states gracefully
- Review human- and AI-generated code for quality, consistency, and engineering-standard alignment
- Maintain high performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across the product
- Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to ship features end to end
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant frontend development experience
- Strong React, Next.js, and TypeScript skills
- Strong modern CSS and responsive layout skills
- Accessibility fundamentals
- Solid component architecture
- Experience integrating and debugging APIs
- Good testing habits
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile consulting environment
- Fluent working alongside AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience building data-dense dashboards or data visualizations (bonus)
- Fluency with Figma and design handoff processes (bonus)
- Animation and interaction-design skills (bonus)
- Experience designing UX for AI-powered products (bonus)
- Open-source work (bonus)
