Job Description
Staff Front End Engineer building Parkade’s private parking management SaaS. Shaping frontend architecture and AI-assisted development for a hypergrowth PropTech company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop front-end web applications for Parkade's B2B2C SaaS platform for private parking management
- Make architectural and design decisions informed by past achievements and mistakes
- Adopt AI pragmatically and responsibly for individual development work and for the team
- Produce prolifically with AI assistance while applying mature staff-engineer judgment
- Contribute meaningfully to a fast-moving, dynamic startup environment
- Continuously and proactively level up technical skills
- Report directly to the VP of Engineering
- Travel to San Francisco for an in-person interview session and occasionally as an employee if hired
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of hands-on front-end experience building commercial applications
- Strong interest in and background in front-end web development
- Ability to travel to San Francisco for an in-person interview session and, if hired, from time to time as an employee
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Vite, TanStack Router, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, TanStack Query, React Hook Form, Pineapple Express, Vitest, Playwright, Stripe, Firebase, and Sentry
- Proficiency with Python or a similar backend language is a bonus
- Experience setting up and improving CI/CD infrastructure is a bonus
- Experience building something significant from the ground up is a bonus
