Job Description
Senior Full Stack Engineer building Laravel backends and TypeScript frontends for Storyteq’s creative asset production platform. Scaling services, modeling data, and leading technical delivery for enterprise marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship robust backend services and frontends with real product impact
- Ensure systems are scalable, performant, and easy to maintain
- Collaborate across teams to integrate services and deliver end-to-end value
- Model business domains into clean, performant data structures
- Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices
- Collaborate with engineers and lead technical delivery on initiatives within a domain or project
- Lead by example in engineering excellence, pragmatism, and shared ownership
- Enable global enterprises to distribute creative assets across multiple channels and dynamically transform assets into multiple output formats
- Implement new features and scale existing capabilities for Storyteq’s creative production and marketing campaign platform
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering full-stack products with TypeScript, JavaScript, and PHP (Laravel)
- Strong backend development skills with PHP (Laravel)
- Experience with Vue.js or other front-end frameworks
- Experience designing and integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Comfortable working in monorepo environments and modular architectures
- Proficient in data modeling and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with testing practices, performance tuning, and scalable design principles
- Proactive, result-driven approach and enthusiasm for a fast-growing tech scale-up
- Confidence making architectural decisions and communicating trade-offs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Nice to have: affinity with rendering technologies such as ffmpeg
- Nice to have: affinity with motion graphics and visual effects software such as After Effects
- Nice to have: experience with GitLab CI/CD, DevOps, and public cloud platforms such as GCP
