Job Description
Infrastructure Engineer at Northbeam working on a scalable, reliable platform for data ingestion and processing. Collaborating with a small team to automate and improve infrastructure systems.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a small engineering team to create a scalable, observable, reliable platform for data ingestion, processing, and serving
- Responsibilities include CI/CD and dev infrastructure, security, DR policies, SSL cert management, DNS, Infrastructure as Code, capacity planning, observability, scaling plans and automation
- Work on improving observability and automation processes
- Collaborate with engineers, auditors, product managers, and more
Requirements:
- Solid hands-on experience with cloud computing and a knack for automating infrastructure
- Very comfortable developing (and debugging!) automation in Python
- Expert level at Terraform and Atlantis
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
- A track record of resolving on-call issues and staying cool under pressure
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, data, product, and management teams
- Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation
