Job Description
Senior/Lead AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at CI&T designing and implementing cloud solutions. Guiding migration strategies to enhance client AWS experience.
Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions.
- Guide the migration and modernization strategies empowering clients to leverage AWS.
- Collaborate with diverse teams ensuring robust and efficient cloud architectures.
- Create a compelling value proposition for AWS migration demonstrating transformational benefits.
- Define and execute technical migration and modernization strategies with technical teams.
- Deliver modern architectures, including microservices and event-driven architectures, using managed services and cloud-native capabilities.
- Engage with clients’ development, infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams identifying patterns for cloud migration.
- Identify platform improvement opportunities influencing future iterations of the AWS platform and the Migration Acceleration Program.
Requirements:
- Experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- Experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data, and analytics.
- Proven experience in a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Architect role, leading the discovery, design, and build of custom and commercial applications.
- Proficiency in architecting, designing, and migrating workloads to the public cloud.
- Familiarity with a range of migration discovery, profiling, migration automation, and operations tools and technologies.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Nice-to-have Skills: Experience with multi-tier distributed architecture within IT consulting, IT operations, application development, or support.
- Understanding of large IT budgets, complex vendor relationships, and the ability to work across diverse teams to build the case for cloud migration.
- Strong knowledge of multiple migration strategies, such as rehosting, refactoring, re-architecting, replatforming, and repurchasing.
