Job Description

Senior Java Software Engineer developing AI-driven scalable applications at a tech company. Joining a culture of continuous improvement in code quality and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern software engineering best practices.
  • Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and Frontend Developers to deliver high-quality software.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
  • Participate in CI/CD processes and support deployment activities.
  • Contribute to frontend development using Angular and TypeScript when required.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java software development
  • Strong proficiency with Java 17+
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs
  • Experience working with relational databases
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
  • Strong understanding of clean code principles and software engineering best practices
  • Experience with unit and integration testing
  • Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern software development workflows
  • Practical experience with Angular and TypeScript
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
