Job Description
Senior Dynamics 365 CE engineer developing enterprise Microsoft solutions for Codec’s essential public-services platform. Enhancing Power Platform applications, Azure integrations and DevOps delivery while resolving complex technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and enhance enterprise solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and the Microsoft Power Platform
- Deliver new application capabilities, workflow automation and business process improvements aligned to customer requirements
- Develop and maintain custom plugins, integrations, workflows and Power Platform components
- Contribute to solution architecture discussions and technical design decisions
- Improve performance, scalability, maintainability and supportability across the application estate
- Lead technical implementation of approved change requests and enhancement initiatives
- Analyse existing functionality and recommend improvements to user experience, process efficiency and operational effectiveness
- Refactor and optimise existing solution components to reduce technical debt
- Work with Azure Integration Engineers on end-to-end business processes spanning Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Azure services
- Support deployment and release activities using Azure DevOps
- Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD improvements and application lifecycle management
- Provide expert analysis and resolution of complex application issues, defects and major incidents
- Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, technical documentation and operational runbooks
- Engage customer stakeholders, business users and delivery teams to understand requirements and shape scalable technical solutions
- Provide technical input into roadmap discussions, enhancement planning and service improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps and Power Automate
- Experience developing custom plugins and integrations using C# and Microsoft best practices
- Experience delivering enhancements and new functionality within enterprise application environments
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and modern ALM practices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Microsoft Dataverse and Microsoft Power Platform
- Model-Driven Application Development and Business Process Automation
- Dynamics 365 Security Model, solution design and customisation
- C# plugin development and custom workflow activities
- JavaScript and client-side customisation
- Custom API development and integration design
- Solution layering and environment strategy
- Source control using Git, CI/CD concepts, solution deployment and release management
- Requirements analysis, technical design documentation and solution architecture principles
- Performance optimisation, secure application design and scalable enterprise solution development
- Azure integration technologies are highly desirable, including Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, App Services and WebJobs
- Experience in Managed Services or regulated environments is highly desirable
