Job Description
Senior PHP Developer at DataCandy, part of Paystone, architecting software solutions for customer engagement. Responsibilities include mentoring, design, and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Architect robust solutions and mentor junior developers.
- Design scalable, secure, and elegant software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to build world-class features.
- Lead by example in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Stay curious and experiment with new tools.
Requirements:
- 8+ years in software development with strong expertise in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Proficient in Symfony (or similar PHP frameworks), Doctrine (or similar ORM), and PHPUnit testing.
- Familiar with JavaScript frameworks like JQuery or AngularJS, and bonus points for Cypress or other E2E testing tools.
- Experience in AWS-hosted environments is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
