Job Description
Platform Services Analyst improving enterprise platforms that enable critical services at the Government of Alberta. Supporting development, monitoring and leading initiatives for sustainable technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build the Platforms That Power Government Services!
- Support platform development, configuration, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Monitor platform performance and contribute to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Lead platform architecture, standards development, and strategic platform planning.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through platform services optimization.
Requirements:
- University graduation in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or a related field.
- 2 years of related experience for Systems Analyst 2;
- 4 years of related experience for Systems Analyst 3;
- Equivalencies in education and experience available.
- Experience supporting a broad range of enterprise technologies and platforms.
- Experience facilitating changes to business processes and policies to meet evolving operational requirements.
- Knowledge of Alberta Government goals, strategies, and initiatives relating to Technology and Innovation.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
