Job Description
Android Engineer building Qonto’s Kotlin mobile finance experience for European SMEs. Owning product-critical features, architecture, reliability, and testing end-to-end.
Responsibilities:
- Build the mobile experience used by European businesses to manage their finances
- Own product-critical features from discovery and technical design through implementation, rollout, and iteration
- Shape technical solutions with Product, Design, and Backend teams
- Balance UX, performance, security, and time-to-market tradeoffs
- Improve app architecture, performance, reliability, maintainability, and test strategy
- Contribute to real-time synchronization, resilience patterns, and smooth navigation
- Lead code reviews and technical discussions
- Share patterns and mentor peers
- Work in a squad team with ownership of a defined product scope
Requirements:
- Strong Android native experience
- Production experience shipping and maintaining features with Kotlin
- Comfortable owning technical decisions end-to-end
- Experience with unit, UI, and snapshot testing
- Clean code and pragmatic engineering standards
- Ability to turn complex constraints into simple, robust solutions
- Daily use of AI coding tools
- Fluent in English
- Ability to contribute through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship
