Job Description

Senior Project Manager leading distribution and transportation network transformation at Johnson & Johnson. Coordinating complex transitions, governance, risks, and cross-functional operational readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of network transition projects across distribution, transportation, and supply chain functions
  • Manage multiple complex, interrelated network transition sub-projects in parallel
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, trackers, and governance documentation using FPX project methodology
  • Track transition milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating and resolving them as needed
  • Coordinate operational, systems, infrastructure, and 3PL-related readiness activities
  • Support site transition activities, including cutover planning, hyper-care stabilization, and transition governance
  • Ensure transition activities align with standards, timelines, and future-state network objectives
  • Facilitate communication and decision visibility across Operations, IT, Digital, Procurement, Partner Management, and regional teams
  • Prepare governance forum reporting on project progress, risks, mitigation actions, and key decisions
  • Maintain transition documentation, after-action reviews, and best practices
  • Support management of interdependencies between network projects and broader transformation initiatives

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Strong foundation in project management, including FPX
  • Proven experience leading complex, high-visibility projects or programs with multiple interdependent workstreams in a regional or global matrix environment
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, project management, or transformation programs
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing complex project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and governance activities
  • Experience driving or coordinating operational transitions, network changes, site implementations, or large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Understanding of supply chain and distribution operations, including warehouse and transportation processes
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives involving Operations, IT, Procurement, and external partners
  • Proficiency with project planning, reporting, and collaboration tools
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive continuous improvement
  • Self-directed and accountable, with ability to work well under pressure and adjust to evolving business environments
  • Ability to toggle between big-picture thinking and attention to detail
  • Fluent English required
  • Additional languages are a plus
  • Experience in MedTech is a plus
