Job Description
Senior Python Software Engineer developing and evolving fraud detection software at ALTEN, supporting a team for innovative IT and R&D projects.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze requirements from business and operational teams (planned store visits).
- Design, develop and evolve the fraud detection software solution.
- Actively participate in iterative (Agile) projects, code reviews and automated testing.
- Validate developments on a test infrastructure that replicates the store environment.
- Ensure the robustness and scalability of the solution through appropriate technology and architectural choices.
- Provide expert-level support for production incidents.
- Contribute to the technical community (presentations, conference feedback, discussions on ML, software development, DevOps best practices…).
Requirements:
- You hold a degree in Computer Science (Master’s level) or have equivalent experience.
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Expertise in: Python development for demanding environments (real-time, performance, scaling).
- Containerization and deployment on Kubernetes.
- Data handling and querying using SQL.
- Provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform (GCP experience appreciated).
- Experience with machine learning projects applied to images or video is a major asset.
- Good level of technical English.
