Job Description
Sr. QA Engineer developing and validating next-generation IP routing solutions. Leading automation and testing strategies for service provider and cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end validation and testing strategies for IP routing features, including SR-MPLS, SRv6, BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN
- Lead development of test architecture, automation strategies, and quality engineering practices for large-scale routing platforms
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases using Python to expand test coverage and efficiency
- Collaborate with development, product management, and system engineering teams to support feature delivery
- Define and execute test plans covering functional, scale, performance, and interoperability scenarios
- Mentor engineers to support technical development and consistency in engineering practices
- Influence product quality through design reviews, defect analysis, and risk identification
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in networking with a focus on IP routing and protocols
- Application of SR-MPLS, SRv6, BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN technologies
- Experience developing automated test cases using Python within networking or distributed systems environments
- Application of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and switching
- Experience working with test automation frameworks and CI/CD practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and collaborate across teams
